As part of the application process, potential service providers may seek a professional reference from a Cascale member (or ZDHC member for chemical specialties). Employees of Cascale member companies with direct knowledge of the professional activities of the applicant may be a Professional Reference. Professional References must be able to provide an informed and objective description about the professional work of the Applicant in regards to environmental management, sustainability, and assessment.
Non-Cascale members, an applicant’s spouse or other relative, a person whom the applicant supervises, or a representative of the applicant’s own company (even if a member of the Cascale) may not be a Professional Reference. Additionally, references are not accepted if completed by the applicant.
