Verifier Bodies (VBs) and Verifiers play a crucial role in SLCP verifications. A Verifier is an approved individual responsible for conducting an SLCP verification to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data collected through self-/joint-assessment of facilities. On the other hand, a Verifier Body (VB) is an organization approved to conduct SLCP verifications and responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of their Verifier's SLCP verification.
The VB is responsible for training Verifiers on SLCP, technical and social skills needed for verification, and integrity, as well as assigning Verifiers when a verification is requested by a facility. The Verification Oversight Organization (VOO) oversees the VB and Verifier selection process. Aspiring VBs and Verifiers can start the application process here.
Facilities must contact VBs offline to request quotes and then select their chosen VB on the Accredited Host platform. Only SLCP approved VBs can be selected. To access the list of SLCP approved Verifier Bodies, interested parties can click here.
